Isobel's Garden Naming Ceremony

The weather held out for Isobel's Naming Ceremony so it went ahead as planned in her grandparents completely enchanted garden. Decorated with balloons and pompoms, it was truly magical!


Not only did Isobel's parents, grandparents and her guideparent make promises which will support her throughout her life, but her aunts and uncles also made promises. The ceremony was full of love from this little girl's family, friends and community. The ceremony ended with a procession up to the top of the garden where a cherry tree was planted with a view to Isobel being able to pick and eat the cherries when she's older, and finally a toast was made to little Isobel. A beautiful day!



'Evelyn was the celebrant for our daughters naming ceremony. She was wonderful, very easy to talk to when planning the day. She listened to all our ideas and suggested many things we hadn’t considered which really added to our day. She was friendly and really took the time to get to know the key members of our ceremony and make sure everyone knew what they were doing.
