Amazing wedding in Cattle Market sale ring!

Yes, this wedding really did take place at Melton Mowbray Cattle Market right in the sale ring! And I conducted it from the auctioneer's chamber! ]
From the minute I met Abi and Adam, I absolutely loved this couple. Adam works at Melton Mowbray Cattle Market and they’d always dreamt of getting married there.
The market had been scrubbed clean and decorated, this was the first ever wedding to take place there, and when I arrived early there was already a crowd waiting, many of the women wearing straw country hats. Adam was waiting with his dog, and when the bridal party, which included Abi’s dog, entered through the cattle pens, I had to open a shutter so they could come in. When they were pronounced husband and wife, I banged the auctioneer’s hammer!
It was a beautiful ceremony, which culminated with the couple creating a new tradition, which was jumping over the groom's cattle stick. A great wedding where this couple really did it their own way!
'We had our wedding on the 28th of October 2017 and had Evelyn as our wedding celebrant. Evelyn put so much time and thought into every little detail about our wedding and created such a personal and unique service for us. So many people have commented on how lovely the service was.
